Jesus is the head of the body of the church. The head directs and leads that which He is the head of. Have you made Jesus Christ the head in regards to your salvation? There is only one head and it is the Lord Jesus Christ. Is He your joy? Admit to yourself where you are in relation to the Lord Jesus Christ. If He is not the head of your life, confess it and forsake it. Jesus is not the head of your life by choice. What is the real problem in your marriage? Is Jesus the head? If you are not following Jesus, you have no head. Humans are good at failing because they will not listen to the head who has all the wisdom of God. There is no reason you can't live according to the word. There is a reason why unhappy people are unhappy. If you would follow your head Jesus, how is it you are miserable? You will keep making mistakes to mess up your life if you don't start taking heed to the head.
