"I Will Draw All Men Unto Me"     4427

    Jesus is speaking of Himself and what He is doing and will do. Jesus will draw all men. He is not prejudice. He will draw them to Himself. Jesus will set a chain of events that will attract people to Him. Draw - not drag. There is a willingness. Jesus behaves in such a fashion that makes you want Him. God wants you to willingly respond to His draw. Because Jesus alone meets your deepest needs, you must have Him. He is all in all. How does Jesus draw us? It is with bands of love. There is nothing in us that is worth saving. We are only worth something because God says we are. We need God. God is longsuffering, but eventually it runs out. If God is drawing and attracting you to the truth, don't you know that when He made you, He made you to know the truth? We are expected to believe by faith. If you and I are going to draw people to Christ, then we must lift up Jesus. The way to do that is by speaking of Christ. If you are not saved, it is because you are refusing the call of God.
